While flipping through your favorite magazine or watching TV, a beauty advertisement catches your eye, and you’ve GOTTA HAVE IT! It gets even the best of us at one point or another. However, all ads are not created equal. Here are College Gloss’ favorites this spring season.
Dior
Dior is synonymous with elegance and femininity, and in their latest ad campaign, they capture the very definition of grace and glamor. The ad features a stunning blond-haired, blue-eyed model staring deeply out at the world. A delicate pink halo envelopes her in a pretty, pink beaded gown. She wears sheer makeup, giving her a fresh look. The ad is excellent because not only is it aesthetically pleasing, it also presents Dior beauty products in a sophisticated, elegant manner that makes college girls swoon.
Chanel
Ah, Chanel, the epitome of French fashion and beauty! Chanel’s most recent beauty campaign is beautiful in every way. The ad features top model Jac Jagicak flaunting a full face of makeup, including matte pink lips, mascara and soft eye makeup. Jagicak sits before a pale pink background imprinted with roses, beauty tubes and the classic chanel logo. Gorgeous Chanel beauty products are perched in the corner of the ad, simply stating, “Buy me, I’m beautiful...”
