Book Review: "Parisian Chic: A Style Guide"

If you love fashion, travel, and French culture, “Parisian Chic: A Style Guide" will be great for you. This book covers how to experience the life of a Parisian and how to achieve effortless style, written by former model Ines de la Fressange.

The book resembles a Moleskin notebook and feels like you are reading someone’s handmade book on style. It contains a plethora of information regarding fashion and Paris.

There are lists of things to wear, how to wear certain pieces of clothing, what types of flowers look best in a bouquet, and even the top online stores to check out. This book is written for both younger and older fashionistsas, telling you what makeup to use to look natural and how to appear younger.

If traveling to Paris, you can take this book with you because she also mentions places to eat, vintage stores, and regular stores that are affordable and have a nice, fresh, Parisian look to them. It will really teach you that there is more out there than Hermès and Chanel.

Overall this book has a great personal look and is very informative. It’s a nice read for when you are relaxing or if you want to channel your inner mademoiselle.
