Pop Up With Gaga: Gaga's Workshop
Little Monsters, the wait is over because Lady Gaga‘s Barneys Workshop has finally opened at Barney’s luxury flagship store in New York.
Once inside, it’s a Gaga holiday explosion featuring over 5,000 square feet. Located on the fifth floor of the Madison Avenue Men’s store, the workshop was creatively designed by stylists Nicola Formichetti, Eli Sudbrack and Christophe Hamaide Pierson, who have assisted in creating exclusive gifts available in the workshop.
Also, standout installations include an 8-foot Lady Gaga-turned-spider sculpture, and a boudoir in the shape of a giant wig.
According to WWD, “Products will range in price from $6 for stocking stuffer candy to a one-off pair of Gaga shoes for $4,100.”
"There's all sorts of affordable presents here, and they are guilt-free," Lady Gaga said as she delicately sipped tea from an elaborately decorated tea cup (which Barneys is selling for $65).
Barneys New York will donate 25% of sales from all items featured in Gaga's Workshop to the Born This Way Foundation, recently founded by Lady Gaga and her mother, which focuses on youth empowerment and equality by addressing issues such as self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development and will utilize digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change.
