Spring Trends: Looks You Can Wear on Campus

With winter in full force, the hardest part to endure can be the winter blues. This year, look forward to spring with this collection of spring fashion trends, all tailored for college students:

First, the array of spring crochet and lace popping up illustrate an upcoming craze that can work with a variety of individual styles. White lacy dresses and beige-toned crocheted tops suggest a ‘70s-esque look that seems to be making a comeback this spring. Try pairing a knit top with  denim shorts or a pair of leggings and Greek inspired sandals to complete the look.

Fringe can look chic on almost any article of clothing: boots, cross-body bags–even fringed dresses are making an appearance. Incorporate fringed booties from the fall into spring-wear by pairing them with a cute dress or shorts. Ankle-height fringed brown booties or a fringed cross body bag worn with casual jeans or a soft  v-neck emit a casual yet composed aura.

The minimalistic look has sparked quite a buzz among fashionístas for the upcoming warm weather as well. Nudes and starch whites, currently described as “pearl” or “straw,” dotted Spring runways. Avoid looking monochromatic by adding accessories like nature inspired bangles or a simple belt.
